Title SOCIOCULTURAL SPACE OF PRESCHOOL EDUCATIONAL ORGANIZATION: THEORETICAL AND EMPIRICAL CONCEPTUALIZATION

Abstract This paper is concerned with the sociocultural space of preschool educational organizations as a system of relations between subjects, indicators of functioning of educational institutions and their resources and presents an estimate which the parental community makes of the influence of this space on the development of children. The results of empirical and sociological research show that parents think highly of the professionalism of pedagogical community, whose current goal is, among others, to form the need for constant self-perfection and self-development in children. It is the parental community’s opinion that the sociocultural space of preschool educational organizations has a positive effect especially on the formation of the culture of health protection and on the communicative development. Both teachers and parents point out problems of moral development of children with consideration for their individuality. In the parents’ opinion, the social mandate should include the development of those skills and abilities which will contribute to a successful involvement of children in the educational activities at school and to mastering the norms and rules of communication with different people.
